The Pasar Pelbagai Barangan Gadong (PPBG) – better known as Pasar Gadong or Gadong night market – is an enduringly popular option for its affordable and wide variety of traditional and street food.
But if you’re looking to beat the crowds gathering every afternoon this Ramadhan, then ordering from www.pasarpbg.com is a convenient alternative by having the market’s favourites delivered to your doorstep (Brunei-Muara) in time for the breaking of fast.
Pasarpbg.com has 12 vendors offering over 100 items collectively across four categories: grilled and smoked food (salai), burgers and kebabs, beverages, as well as traditional dishes including cakes, noodles, and rice combinations.
The website enables customers to order from any number of vendors in a single checkout and pay only a single delivery fee from $3.50 to $5 (rate is tiered based on distance). Orders placed before 3pm will be delivered before the breaking of fast; orders made after will be delivered the following afternoon between 4pm to 6pm.
Operator of pasarpbg.com Beep Digital Solutions has partnered with ONZ to fulfill deliveries, and plans to introduce catering and donation options on their platform in the near future.
“We have recently revamped the website for better user experience and introduced cashless payment solutions (Visa/Mastercard) while onboarding more vendors,” said founder of Rizal Ali, who welcomes more of the market’s vendors – more than 100 in total – to register with their platform.
Pasarpbg.com was launched last May to help the vendors continue selling online following the market’s temporary closure due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
