The Ong Sum Ping (OSP) Puni Indah Residences has rebranded as Rimbun Suites and Residences as it looks to offer daily rates for its 72 three-bedroom apartment units.
The four-acre property in the capital comprising of three apartment blocks previously operated as serviced apartments for longer term tenants.
With the rebranding, Rimbun is offering four suites; a two bedroom executive suite for $180 per night and three options for three bedroom suites priced at $280 (Tropika), $300 (Serenity) and $350 (Pelangi) which carry check out times of 12pm, 3pm and 5pm respectively.
Reservation officer Sakeena Idris said all four suites shared the same three bedroom apartment unit layout of 3,000 square feet, but the executive suite option would only have access to two rooms. The Tropika and Serenity suites fit five people with two double beds and a single bed, while the Pelangi fits up to seven with an additional double bed.
“With the rebranding (earlier this year) we are bringing a higher hospitality standard (similar to hotels) as we look to cater to more short-term guests,” said Sakeena. “Airport pickups and transfers are also complimentary, and we can cater to additional guests (with beds) at $35 a night.”
Facilities at Rimbun include a gym, swimming pool and barbeque area located next to each other on the ground floor, as well as meeting rooms.
Sakeena added that the barbeque area – inclusive tables and chairs for up to 50 people – is $70 for a day’s use or comes complimentary with the Pelangi suite.
Rimbun Suites and Residences was developed as a public-private partnership between the Brunei Economic Development Board and Malaysian construction company Bina Puri Holdings.
Both parties signed an agreement back in 2010 for Bursa-listed Bina Puri to invest RM21 million to refurbish and operate the three unoccupied apartment blocks as premium, fully furnished serviced apartments for 20 years.
