Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) is inviting businesses with locally developed products and services to join the Brunei MSME Festival taking place at Bridex from March 28 to 31, 2019.
The MSME Festival – previously called the Made in Brunei Market Fair – will see 250 exhibition booths spread across both of Bridex’s halls. A conference, advisory clinics as well as business matching and pitching sessions will also run throughout the four-day event.
Each three by three-metre booth is $100 for home-based businesses and enterprises from village consultative councils (MPK), $300 for MSMEs and $1,000 for government-linked companies and corporate organizations.
DARe will be prioritising businesses with locally made products and services, but businesses developing their own brands – whose production may be outsourced abroad – are also welcome to apply.
Businesses that are targeted for the trade show include manufacturers in F&B, cosmetics, healthcare, fashion, textiles, electronics and household merchandise. In services, companies in IT, e-Commerce, travel, hotels, logistics, education, insurance and banking are also invited.
The MSME Festival is being held to promote entrepreneurship and business opportunities in Brunei. Applications can be downloaded from DARe’s website. Registration closes Feburary 15, 2019.
