Brunei entrepreneurs are invited to pitch at St. James’s Palace in London this April 16, 2018 in conjunction with the Commonwealth Summit.
The Pitch@Palace will be showcasing entrepreneurs from the 52 Commonwealth countries with the theme – Human tech – Benefits for Humanity – tying into the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting’s theme of Towards a Common Future.
Pitch@Palace is designed as a platform for entrepreneurs to share their ideas and connect with influential supporters, including CEOs, angel investors, mentors and business partners from the Commonwealth region.
Applicants who are selected will be put through a special bootcamp from leading industry experts three days before the event, where they will pitch to a panel of judges who will decide whether the entrepreneurs will be pitching for three minutes or 30 seconds at St. James’s Palace.
Pitch@Palace is looking to support entrepreneurs primarily in the fields of biotech and medtech, education, energy and the environment, internet security, consumer goods and IOT, artificial intelligence and machine learning, communications, media, and entertainment.
The winners of Pitch@Palace will be selected by the audience.
The Pitch@Palace was founded in 2014 by the Duke of York in recognition of the “profound role” that entrepreneurship is playing in shaping the future of the UK and the global economy.
