Registration for 200 booths are now open for businesses looking to showcase locally made products and services at the first Made In Brunei Market Fair (MIBMF) taking place from May 4 to 6 at Bridex in Jeurdong.
The fair is being held to promote locally made products and services and will serve as a platform for government agencies to identify businesses with the potential for export to participate in market access programmes and international trade shows.
Shortlisted vendors will only be charged $50 a booth.
The fair will also run alongside the inaugural Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Conference and Expo which will focus on innovation.
MIBMF is the first trade show to focus exclusively on locally made products and is jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Brunei Economic Development Board and Darussalam Enterprise.
Those interested in registering can obtain the form online at www.ei.gov.bn/mibmf and submit to etf@jpm.gov.bn or to the ETF Counter at Business Support Centre located on the first floor of the Design and Technology Building along Simpang 32-37 in Kg Anggerek Desa.
Companies from the China-ASEAN Expo, Vietnam, Sabah, Sarawak and SMECorp from Malaysia are also expected to participate in the event, offering networking and business matching opportunities.
